False dawn (1 reply)
Out of the frying pan and into the fire doesnt come close, more shadiness, even less answers and still no professionalism from the upper management of our club.
The worst thing is, and also the most unforgivable, is that this lot genuinely seem to have the ambition and have spent the money and that just leaves us with a load of what ifs, what if they'd have bought in someone better than Zola, or heaven forbid left Rowett in and backed him? What if Vetere and Dein hadn't been consulted every time the cheque book was opened? What if Dong had stayed at home playing Footie Manager or (allegedly) swindling training camps in China, and a CEO who knew about English football had been appointed and given the task of moving us forward?
As it is we are a mess of a club, mismanaged and with a group of people steering the ship too proud to admit they haven't got a clue how to do it
