From crocodiles to sharks, these terrifying 3D murals have had passers-by running for cover

A series of mind-bending snaps by a French street artist will have fans running for cover if they ever encounter the terrifying illusions.  

The 3D animals were created by graffiti enthusiast Pierrot, who identifies himself as SCAF on his social media channel and has over 129k followers on his Instagram account.

The Frenchman’s life-like creatures, which can often be located in urban areas, include a crocodile, a frightening snake, and also a great white shark. 

The creator, who hails from Lorraine, France, has previously said: “I love to paint in all of these abandoned places.

“Above all, I like abandoned houses, manors, castles, and factories.”
