The show will be airing on BBC Two but fans can stream it live on BBC iPlayer

Each episode will be available to stream and download on iPlayer after it has been on TV.

There will be five episodes in the second series, each running for 30 minutes.

Who’s in the cast?

Miley Locke as Rosie Yates

Miley Locke plays Rosie, a nine-year-old with severe learning disabilities.

Locke doesn’t have a learning disability herself but BBC bosses said they auditioned girls with learning disabilities and consulted with child psychologists, who said the role would be too demanding for a child with a disability.

Miley previously appeared in the TV series The Royals as Sara Alice.

David Tennant as Simon Yates

David Tennant is a Scottish actor familiar to most TV watchers.

His roles in Dr Who, Broadchurch and Casanova have made him one of the UK’s most well-known actors.

Tennant has said he admires how “painfully honest” the show can be.

Jessica Hynes has been awarded BAFTA TV Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for her role in the show.

Hynes has had a role in the 2007 Doctor Who, in which she played Joan Redfern.

What is There She Goes about?

BBC describes the show as a ‘Comedy drama that shines a light on the day-to-day life of a family looking after their severely learning disabled nine-year-old girl, Rosie.’

The programme follows Rosie, as well as her parents Emily and Simon, and her older brother Ben.

The series was written by Shaun Pye from his own experience of having a daughter born with a chromosomal disorder.

Pye has plenty comedic writing experience, having produced material for Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and Would I Lie To You?
