90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Deavan and Jihoon’s relationship may be lost in translation after trickery. Jihoon dropped a bombshell on his wife who was left speechless.
Fan-favorite couple, Jihoon Lee and Deavan Clegg are hoping that their second attempt of living together in Korea will work out. The couple has returned for the second season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. The 90 Day Fiancé franchise is one of the most popular cable network reality television shows on the air right now, and Deavan is always bringing in views for her straight-shooting attitude. Last week, Jihoon admitted once again that Deavan was not his parents' dream daughter-in-law. Fans have pointed out that it does not look like Deavan puts in much effort to connect with her new family. While her mother is also running around like an entitled American.
Fans watched while Deavan still found it hard to believe that her husband could still be acting so childish. The mother of two was not happy with her Korean accommodation and made it known to the world. Even Jihoon’s parents thought the location of the apartment was "sad." The least Jihoon could have done was scope put the neighborhood before his family arrived. The couple’s relationship seems to be missing an important piece of communication. Neither one knows the other’s language and the translator gadget is letting them both down. Jihoon was visibly frustrated by the language barrier.
The Utah native questioned why Jihoon could not be more helpful. At first, the Korean tried to tell cameras he had been helping but Deavan made sure to put a stop to that. She made it clear she had paid for everything including the visa’s and move up to this point. There does not seem to be any love lost between the couple with Deavan deciding she would leave when her mother leaves. Jihoon sealed his fate by admitting that he tricked his wife into moving back to Korea because he was impatient and wanted them there quicker. Deavan was livid because she would not have left the United States if she had been told the truth.
The young father does not have a grasp on reality. The modern-day worries of raising a child do not burden him. But for Deavan, her mother is sleeping in a twin bed next to her and it is becoming more apparent that Jihoon was not prepared to become a father or take on that much responsibility. Jihoon’s parents do not push their son to admit his mistakes and for a long time, his own wife even made excuses for him. For TLC fans it looks like the excuses have finally run out.
