VIDEO: Jose Mourinho gives honest assessment of Spurs display in Bournemouth draw

Jose Mourinho was pleased with Tottenham’s attitude, but felt his side weren’t “sharp enough” in their draw with Bournemouth on Thursday.

Spurs knew that three points would have moved them above Arsenal and up to 7th in the Premier League, but Mourinho’s men were unable to produce a single attempt on target, and sit 9th in the standings going into Sunday’s north London derby.

In truth, Tottenham were extremely fortunate not to leave the Vitality Stadium empty-handed after Callum Wilson had a late goal disallowed for handball before his namesake Harry was denied by Hugo Lloris in stoppage-time when one-on-one.
