Introducing the new Financial Post website: Here's what you need to know
Today, we launch an all-new website for the Financial Post, based on the feedback we’ve had from readers like you.
You’ll notice a fresh look and feel. We’ve also completely rebuilt what’s under the hood to help you discover and engage with more of the stories that matter to you.
Here are some more details:
It’s faster
According to Google PageSpeed Insights, our new site is up to 68 per cent faster to load on mobile devices, exceeding the best-in-class standard for performance.
What does that mean for you? You’ll spend less time waiting for stories to load.
It’s easier to navigate
Our redesign delivers an uninterrupted scrolling experience. There’s more white space and less clutter to make it easier to browse, and our curated index and category pages spotlight the newest, most relevant stories. It’s also easier to find the best videos and related playlists.
It’s cross-device compatible
Our new website is designed to move with you. It’s fully responsive on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
It’s interactive
We’ve improved existing features and built new ones so you can engage with our content — and other readers — more easily.
Features include:
• Discoverability widgets to help you find new content on our site or across our network.
• Comments that are now cross-device compatible and let you leave a comment, get email notifications and follow or unfollow other commenters.
It’s more accessible
We’ve made improvements including a primary navigation menu that can be used with or without a mouse. We will roll out additional accessibility features over the course of this year.
