Selling Sunset: When are Heather Rae Young & Tarek El Moussa Getting Married?
Tarek El Moussa and Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young got engaged a week back. Now the newly engaged couple speaks about their wedding plans. Well, it's going to happen sooner than fans expected.
On the occasion of the couple's first anniversary, Tarek decided to propose to his girlfriend. The Flip or Flop star picked an insanely beautiful emerald cut diamond and planned the whole surprise at Catalina Island, California. The realtor was under the impression that she is going to celebrate one year of togetherness with her boyfriend. However, she was completely surprised when Tarek got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Earlier, she mentioned in an interview that she wishes to get engaged soon, but doesn't want to rush things with her partner. Well, her prayers have been answered. The 32-year-old beauty recently posted a few mind-blowing pictures of her engagement ring on her IG. She also shared a cute story about how her fiancé managed to get the rock shipped from Europe.
Now, obviously, the couple's fans are curious to know when they are getting hitched. While talking to E! in an interview, the 38-year-old said that he wishes to get married as soon as the pandemic gets under control. He revealed, "With the coronavirus going on, it's really important to us that we have a proper wedding so whenever we get back to normal, we will be getting married." He added, "We're expecting it to be less than a year." Wow, it looks like fans won't have to wait for long to see the couple in their wedding attires. Check out the pictures of their engagement:
When asked about if they would like to get their wedding documented on their respective reality shows. The Flipping 101 star said, "You know, I think we would be open to it." However, Heather isn't entirely on board with this idea yet. She added, "That's something we need to sit down and really discuss if we really want all of the cameras around but I also think it's special to have it documented. We can look back and have it forever just like the engagement."
The reality stars revealed that their engagement was filmed by HGTV. Heather was informed that the cameras were just there to shoot some b-roll scenes of the couple. So, viewers might see the glimpses of the wedding on Tarek's reality show. But, due to his contractual obligations with HGTV, fans might not be able to see the couple together on Netflix's Selling Sunset. But, let's be hopeful. Maybe producers can make an exception and film him for this one of a kind event.
Selling Sunset season 3 premieres on Netflix on Aug. 7.
