While this one certainly tackled some controversial issues, there are others out there that might be able to equally entertain and inform.

10 Everything Sucks! (2018)
This limited series is the perfect binge. It takes place in 1990s Oregon, and follows a high school where the A/V club is clashing with the drama club. 13 Reasons Why definitely lived up to the notion that "everything sucks", and this quirky drama is no different.
For a hilarious and relatable show about being a teen, this one is perfect, and is definitely more light-hearted than the themes of 13 Reasons Why.

This comedy follows similar suit in terms of struggling with everything to do with high school. With family, sexuality, and friendship, Sydney has a lot to handle - but she also has superpowers blooming within her.

8 Big Mouth (2017-)
This animated comedy is perfect for all those who are now old enough to continue tackling difficult concepts and ideas. This show follows teenage friends, all of whom are trying to handle puberty and all its horrors.
This show is definitely the most raunchy on this list, but it's totally honest and entertaining, and will likely gain some respect from those that loved 13 Reasons Why.
7 Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (2018-2020)
This teen drama definitely takes on a more fantasy vibe, but it tells the popular story of Sabrina the teenage witch. She must navigate the human world and the witch world, and must choose by her sixteenth birthday.

This comedy drama follows a teenage boy - whose mother is a sex therapist. They team up to provide a sex therapy clinic at the high school. With Asa Butterfield and Gillian Anderson, this series is absolutely hilarious and lovable.
For those that like how 13 Reasons Why walks the line of progressiveness, this is the next great binge. Of course, it's more on the quirky side, with so many wonderful and dynamic characters.
4 Easy (2016-)
This one isn't exactly a teen drama, but it's probably perfect for those who have spent the last few years of their teens watching Clay Jensen and the rest - and now they can tune into adulthood.
