Coronation Street spoilers: Geoff Metcalfe makes ex Elaine disappear from the cobbles

CORONATION Street’s Geoff Metcalfe is going to go to make his ex-wife Elaine “disappear” in a shocking twist next week.

The abusive magician – who is played by actor Ian Bartholomew in the ITV soap – will finally come face to face with Elaine after 50 years.

Pictures show him terrorising her in the alley way near the Rovers before he makes her disappear from the cobbles.

It comes after fans were convinced the show had hinted that Geoff is set to become a killer.

On Friday night Geoff finally saw his first victim as she walked down the cobbles.

He panicked realising she could expose all his lies and lost control of himself.

But when he recovered she had gone and he rushed over to the Rovers thinking she was in there.

Instead he found landlady Jenny playing darts by herself and he ordered a cheap bottle of wine to take home with him while he questioned her.

However when she told him that she was not taking any B&B guests in and shut down his questions designed to find Elaine, he turned nasty.

“I’m going to hug the life out of you when these restrictions are lifted,” he said with a menacing tone but trying to appear jovial.

Jenny was creeped out by his behaviour and used extra hand sanitizer as he left.

But viewers are convinced it is a sign that Geoff will become the next serial killer on the cobbles.

One wrote: “Geoff’s promise to hug the life out of Jenny, is that a sign of things to come?”
