NJ Transit trains back on schedule in and out of New York
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Transit says trains into and out of Penn Station are operating on or close to schedule after earlier delays of up to 30 minutes.
NJ Transit says the cause of the delay was a disabled Amtrak train in the tunnel that forced all trains to use one tube.
There was an earlier separate 20 minute delay Tuesday due to an Amtrak overhead wire problem. Tuesday's delays come on the heels of delays on four days last week caused by problems with electrical lines.
