Person struck, killed by train in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — One person has been killed after being struck by a train in Charlotte.

Police told local media the incident happened around 7 p.m. Monday.

The victim's name has not been released.

Police are continuing to investigate.
