Halsey Opens Up About Her New Poetry Book With Fans, Says It's Mostly About Her Life Before Becoming 'Halsey'
Halsey wheels a cart full of green bags out of the store after doing some grocery shopping in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (August 6).
The 25-year-old singer wore a black mask that matched her top and some comfy pants as she picked up some essentials for her home.

Just the day before, Halsey corresponded with her fans on social media who inquired about her upcoming poetry book, which will feature a collection of her writings.
“A good chunk of it is about my life before I was ‘Halsey.’ But there’s a lot of present day insights too that I don’t often get to express. My feelings on family, loneliness, power, gender and sexuality, and longing. Sooooo much longing,” she explained to one fan about the context.
Halsey added that writing the book helped her to “detach from public opinion. to put my desire to make true art ahead of my fear of invasive judgment. it’s very personal. and I know that it will probably turn into a press nightmare. but hopefully it will help some people and that’s what matters ????.”
