The White Sox look to get back in the win column
After a disappointing start to the homestand, the Chicago White Sox start a new series against Cleveland. Cleveland took two games from the Sox the last time these teams met, so the South Siders hope to reverse that record for themselves.
Dylan Cease (1-1, 6.48 ERA) will look to continue his strong performance against the Kansas City Royals into this Friday night series opener.

Zack Collins is slated into the DH position in back-to-back games. Yasmani Grandal receives a day of rest, so James McCann will start at catcher; he will also bat fifth.
Cleveland will send Aaron Civale (1-1, 3.75 ERA) to the mound. On July 28, he went six innings againt the Good Guys. He did surrender seven hits and two runs (one via the home run). If the South Siders can reduce those nine strikeouts and keep piling on the hits, they will be in good standing.
