“Get it done Levy” – Some Spurs fans react to possible departure for new signing
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts after Lille’s Zeki Celik was linked with a move to North London.
The Telegraph reported that Spurs were prepared to sell Juan Foyth or Serge Aurier in order to raise funds to pursue a move for the Turkish international.
The right-back has impressed during his time in France and is also said to be a transfer target for Premier League rivals Everton who have reportedly opened talks with Lille over a potential deal (The Times).
Foyth has struggled for game time this season having made just seven appearances in all competitions, his last coming in December when he was brought off at half time during the 2-2 draw at Norwich after being at fault for one of the Canaries’ goals (transfermarkt).
Aurier on the other hand has been a regular since Jose Mourinho arrived at the club in late November, having played 42 times for Spurs in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing eight assists (transfermarkt).
Here is how some of the North London faithful reacted to the speculation.
I reckon we should sell Foyth and keep Aurier and get zeki and have a bit of healthy competition between them for RB position

Trouble is we need 2 right backs if we are letting one go. Tanganga isn't before we start whacking Square pegs in round holes

Guys this guy is clever beside his abilities in the pitch. He directly went to abroad instead of spending his career in the Turkish big 3 clubs including mine. It will be very good to see him in my fav UK club. Go Spurs!
