Curtis Jones Praises “Perfect” Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp

The other young Scouser in our team came on in leaps and bounds this year, and has nothing but praise for the man who has helped his development. Around this time last year, there was not a huge expectation that academy midfielder Curtis Jones would make the step up to the first team. While his first team involvement could still be considered “fringe,” his 10 appearances and 3 goals in all competitions was more than anyone could have reasonably expected from him.
Throw in a winning penalty against Arsenal in the League Cup and a perfectly struck match winner against Everton, and suddenly fans—particularly local ones—were eager to see more of the other young Scouser in the team.
