The world of Summer in Mara is beautiful and fun to explore. Players are able to travel across the open ocean and check out different islands as they try to unravel the secrets of the world around them. On top of this players will be able to craft new items and farm on these islands in order to earn money and explore more efficiently.
On their adventures on the open sea, players will most likely come across more than a few locked chests. Upon finding them the game doesn't give the player any guidance on how to get them open, so players are left to their own devices to discover how. What they aren't told is that each of these locked chests needs a key to unlock them and these keys can only be acquired in certain ways. This guide will show players how to acquire gold keys for the best locked chests.
There are actually three different kinds of keys in Summer in Mara: normal, silver, and gold. All of these keys can be used to unlock chests, but chests requiring gold keys will give players much higher rewards. The first thing that players will need to do in order to start getting keys is to travel to Puni Cave. This can be done by completing some quests until Koa is awarded a map that shows the locations of different islands in the area. Players will need to travel to Puni Cave where they can find the pirate Litio.
Litio will sell players all kinds of useful resources including both Normal and Silver keys. He sadly doesn't sell gold keys to the player, but that doesn't mean he isn't useful. If players find themselves needing a gold key they just have to talk to Litio about it. He will then give the player a quest asking for some fruits and vegetables. If the player completes this quest they will then be rewarded with a gold key. Once players have a key in their possession they then just have to go to the locked chest and open it up to receive their reward. It is probably a good idea to keep at least one key of all types on hand just in case players come across a chest during their adventures.
