Firefighters rescue man from burning building

Nizhny Novgorod firefighters extinguished the blazing bath and pulled out of the burnt-out building a man who was alive.

The incident took place on Friday morning in the city of Semenov. According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Nizhny Novgorod region,the report of the fire of the bath was received at 8:59 a.m. At 9:03 a.m., firefighters managed to get the man in the building into the fresh air.

The published footage shows that the bathhouse was completely engulfed in flames, both outside and inside. The fact that the rescued man was breathing was also surprising to the firefighters themselves.

Rescuers provided the victim with the necessary assistance before the ambulance arrived, and then handed him over to doctors.

The 15-square-metre fire was completely extinguished at 9:10 a.m. Only a skeleton of charred boards and floors remained at the site of the building. According to preliminary data, the bath caught fire due to careless handling of fire while smoking.
