How To Win Team Rounds In Fall Guys | Screen Rant
Team rounds are arguably the hardest and most frustrating challenges in Fall Guys. The player has to rely heavily on how their team performs as a whole, and it can be frustrating when a single player performs well but their team fails to follow suit. Luckily, there are a few unconventional methods players can use to help turn the tide of team battles.
While players are usually eliminated due to their individual performance in Fall Guys, team rounds eliminate the entire team with the lowest score. Team rounds split the lobby into 2 - 4 teams and have them compete against one another in a multitude of challenges. These challenges range from team tail tag to a two-team soccer match. With one team being eliminated at the end of each round, here is how players can ensure that it's not theirs.
Step 1: be as annoying as possible. This is the one occasion where bullying is an acceptable option, and it is also the best option. Ignore the objective entirely and prevent the opposing team(s) from completing any tasks. In games such as the one that requires players to collect eggs, go to an enemy's nest and guard the entrance. Pull, push, stomp, and block enemies at all costs. During the soccer games, push players more than the ball. And in tail tag, block opposing players from collecting any more tails.
Step 2: hope and pray you have competent team members. In a normal team round setting, anywhere from 60 to 14 players will actively be competing against one another, and it can be quite a mess. Imagine a team of first-grade soccer players swarming the ball wherever it goes. That's a team round of Fall Guys. But same as the first-grade team, there are always a couple of stand-outs who perform better than others. Step 2 is hoping that the player's team has a couple of people who know what they are doing so that the player can focus on harassing the enemy team.
Step 3: look for opportunities to score. For example, when the player is blocking the enemy team from depositing eggs in their nest the enemy may drop their egg. If the player can then pick up that egg and deposit it in their own nest they absolutely should. While it is extremely important to continue to be a jerk to the opposing teams, it never hurts to put a few extra points on the board whenever an opportunity reveals itself.
In short, the player is never going to be the hero who carrier their team to victory, but they can be the villain that stop the enemy team from winning. Be the villain. Be the bully. Be a jerk. Win team rounds in Fall Guys, and ultimately get more crowns.
Fall Guys is available on PC and PlayStation 4.
