The results from the Saturday practice for the 70th Anniversary GP would see a close finsih between the Williams racing drivers with Nicholas latifi surprisingly finishing ahead of team-mate George Russell. Both drivers would only use the soft tyre in this session as they tried to work on the ways to get the best performance from this difficult tyre. The Williams drivers would finish the session in 16th and 17th again ahead of both Alfa Romeo's. The results would seem to question as to whether both Williams drivers can get past Q1 in qualifying.
