RSL to play five matches in two weeks under phase one of MLS return to home markets
It’s going to be weird.
The schedule released by Major League Soccer for a return to home markets is already looking a bit gruelling, with Real Salt Lake playing three matches in a week, with two of those on the road.
Extending it a bit further, the only time Real Salt Lake will have a break longer than three days is between the last match and the preceding match — meaning the club has five matches in 14 days.
Those matches are below, as announced by Real Salt Lake and Major League Soccer.
- Aug. 22 @ Colorado Rapids, 7 p.m. MT
- Aug. 26 vs. LAFC, 7:30 p.m. MT
- Aug. 29 @ Portland Timbers, 8:30 p.m. MT
- Sept. 2 vs. Seattle Sounders FC, 7:30 p.m. MT
- Sept. 5 @ Minnesota United, 6 p.m. MT
- Sept. 12 vs. Colorado Rapids, 7:30 p.m. MT
The club announced that matches would be available on KMYU and ESPN 700, and that they would be live streamed on the KSL TV app.
