Spurs midfielder likely to stay in London by joining Premier League club – report
Fulham are more likely to sign Oliver Skipp than Ryan Sessegnon on loan this summer as Tottenham consider temporary moves for their young stars, according to the Guardian.
Earlier this week we relayed a Telegraph story suggesting Ajax are keen on loaning Sessegnon, and the Guardian have now reiterated that claim.
The report says Fulham are eager for Sessegnon to return to Craven Cottage on loan, but it is believed Skipp is a more realistic target for Scott Parker.
The Fulham manager worked with Skipp during his time as a Spurs youth coach and could lure the 19-year-old.
Skipp signed a new contract last month and Jose Mourinho subsequently revealed the teenager will go out on loan next season.
At the time, a Championship loan seemed most likely – but Fulham could turn out to be a logical move.
Skipp would be able to stay in London and gain vital Premier League experience, and the Parker connection could help him to settle.
It will be interesting to see how the England youth international gets on across the capital if a deal comes to fruition.
