Swans returned to action after a break of almost five months, and their new-look squad started their pre-season with a win behind closed-doors at a swelteringly hot Sports Hub.

A side missing several expected season starters took until just before the break to take the lead, Reece Jackson crisply finishing from a right-side cross.

Tom Henzi headed home from Sean McCormack’s left-side free-kick, and Jigar Kumar drove home an angled shot from the right as Swans began to dominate the second-half.

McCormack then ran through to neatly take the ball round the keeper and make it 4-0, before the visitors scored a late consolation.
