Donald Trump has a two-to-one lead over Jeb Bush in New Hampshire, site of the nation’s first presidential primary and a state known for anointing the eventual Republican presidential nominee. According to the Monmouth University poll, Trump has not lost momentum due to his “not a hero” comment about Sen. John McCain. He takes 24 percent to 12 percent for Bush, with Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker tied for third place with 7 percent. “The controversy over comments about John McCain’s war service do not appear to have slowed the Trump steamroller,” said Patrick Murray, director of polling at Monmouth.
