Can’t tell Guv to impose Sec 8: Centre

The Centre has put to rest all speculation over its powers to direct the governor to take control of law and order in Hyderabad under Section 8 of the AP Reorganization Act. It said on Tuesday that it has no authority to issue a directive to the governor on the matter.
