Ensure all vehicles on road insured: HC

The Lucknow Bench of the High Court has directed all police and transport authorities to ensure vehicles without insurance do not ply on roads and if caught doing so, prosecute the driver or owner of the vehicles not insured. It further directed all district police chiefs to ensure that Accident Information Reports along with other details are reached to the concerned Motor Vehicle Tribunals within 30 days to enable insurance company to grant claim forthwith.
