Lightning strike scares woman

A Morgan City resident witnessed a lightning strike Friday evening that damaged several homes and vehicles.

On Friday around 7:45 p.m., Sarah Ribardi stepped outside of her Cypress Gardens Subdivision home on Onstead Street in Morgan City when lightning struck a tree.

In the video Ribardi ducks as wood and debris fly through the air.

No one was reported injured.
