Former Bayern Munich star set for Tottenham medical with deal close

Jose Mourinho is on the verge of completing his first summer signing – with Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg set to undergo his Tottenham medical on Monday, according to Sky Sports.

Spurs have been chasing the Danish midfielder for a numbers of weeks and look to have fought off major competition from the likes of Everton, who were reportedly close to sealing a deal for Hojbjerg last month, after agreeing a £15m fee with the Saints for the 23-year-old, who has just one-year remaining on his deal.
