5 Arrowverse Characters Aries Will Relate To (5 They Won't Understand)
The Arrowverse may have started out only with Oliver Queen's Arrow but it's a much larger universe these days, one filled with multiple TV shows, heroes, villains, sidekicks, and many other characters. Some of these characters will be more relatable to people born in the sign of Aries but others will be hard to understand for them.
Aries tend to be confident, determined, and driven people, who are also optimistic, honest, and passionate. However, they also have weaknesses, which often manifest as impulsive nature, moodiness, short-temper, and impatience. There are many heroes who fit the description and make it easy for Aries to understand where they're coming from.
10 Will Relate: Roy Harper
Roy Harper was originally a thief who stole Thea's purse but he became so much more. Roy has multiple sides to him just like people born in the sign of Aries do. He's courageous and determined to always do the right thing for the people he cares about. For example, he took the blow for Oliver and pretended to be Green Arrow, even went into prison for Oliver. However, Aries can also be impatient, moody, and impulsive, and Roy sometimes struggles with controlling his emotions.
9 Won't Understand: Malcolm Merlyn
Even though Malcolm Merlyn and Aries share their confidence and determination, which shows when Merlyn decides to continue with the Undertaking, no matter what, other aspects of the Dark Archer's personality won't sit as well with this Zodiac sign. Aries values honesty in people, and Malcolm Merlyn chooses deception as to his standard mode of communication with people. He has no problem with manipulating others, just to achieve his often sinister goals.
8 Will Relate: Laurel Lance
Similar to Roy, Laurel underwent a serious transformation in the show. She was originally Oliver's former girlfriend and a lawyer but then went on to become a vigilante after her sister Sara had (temporarily) died. Laurel was a brave person from the start, determined to bring justice to the people of her beloved city to stop those who would abuse others. She was also honest with her friends, like Aries often are, and wasn't afraid to call Oliver out when she believed he behaved badly toward others.
7 Won't Understand: Sophie Moore
Sophie had a prominent part in the first season of Batwoman and even though she was fairly likable, Aries might find it hard to relate to her. People born in this sign tend to speak their minds and be honest towards themselves and the world as well.
However, Sophie spent a better part of the series denying her true feelings and it took her a surprisingly long mind to come to terms with herself, considering she's not a child or even a teenager anymore.
6 Will Relate: Sara Lance
The younger Lance sister also deserves a spot on this list. Sara and Laurel didn't always get along but they eventually realized they were more alike than they would have previously thought. Sara was even more determined to help people, confident in her abilities as a fighter, and courageous in the face of danger. She proves her determination once again when she goes on to lead the crew of the Waverider after Rip leaves, which was no easy task for her, especially considering her personal demons.
5 Won't Understand: Mick Rory
Mick Rory barely speaks most of the time which might make it difficult to guess what's going on in his head. He's not a very optimistic or open person, and mostly does his own thing. Mick is a good team-player if he puts in the effort but he rarely ever does. That makes him different from Aries who work well with other people and are often at the best when they can be a part of a larger group of people.
4 Will Relate: Thea Queen
One reason why Thea Queen and Roy are such a good couple is that they're in many ways similar. Thea also fights her strong emotions, she can be happy at times but quickly turn around and become sad or angry.
Similarly to Sara, she also underwent a transformation when she was revived in the Lazarus Pit and had to deal with a change in her character that made her much more violent and angry at times.
3 Won't Understand: John Constantine
John Constantine is an intriguing character but also one who's hard to read and who often keeps his true emotions and plans to himself. Aries tend to be honest so John's cryptical nature won't be relatable to them. Plus, they're usually optimists and John sees the world in a darker light. That's understandable, though, considering how much he's been through and that he even went to Hell and back.
2 Will Relate: Barry Allen
Aries tend to be optimistic and passionate people, and as far as optimism is concerned, Barry Allen is the epitome of it in the Arrowverse. He lived through many horrible events that would break a weaker person but still continues to fight for what he believes to be right. And even though Barry sometimes doubts himself, he always keeps on fighting in the end and would do everything for the people he loves.
1 Won't Understand: Iris West
Unlike her friend and later husband Barry, Iris also has issues with finding herself, discovering her true identity, and who she wants to be. Barry knows he has to be the Flash in order to help people and he has a steady job with the police department, but Iris switches between various jobs, and is nowhere as confident in her abilities as other characters in the Arrowverse, at least not in the beginning.
