Selling Sunset Exclusive: Davina Potratz Likes Justin But Supports Chrishell
In a recent interview with Selling Sunset's Davina Potratz, the reality star opened up about Chrishell Stause's ex-husband, Justin Hartley. She also talked about where she stands with Chrishell.
Chrishell Stause and Justin Hartley’s messy divorce is basically breaking the Internet right now. From Chrishell Stause throwing shade by liking a recent tweet to Hartley’s first ex-wife speaking up in Justin's defense, there’s a lot to catch up on. Those closest to Hartley are apparently happy the marriage ended and that the two aren’t in each other's lives anymore. But what about Stause’s fellow Selling Sunset cast members? What do they think about the dramatic divorce post-filming? We decided to chat with one of the show's most outspoken cast members, Davina Potratz, to hear what she had to say about Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause.
Davina Potratz sat down for an exclusive Screen Rant interview last week, and the chatty realtor-turned-reality TV star was quick to set the record straight about various Selling Sunset season 3 plot lines. Unfortunately, she suffered the ill effects of reality TV editing and comes off a lot harsher than normal in the series. When asked about almost defending Justin Hartley during the season three finale, Potratz opened up to share her side of the story:
She told us, “Let me be super clear, I’m not friends with him and I don’t really know him or communicate with him. I’ve probably met a handful of times with Chrishell. He stopped by the office once and just said 'Hi' and he was very respectful and kind.” Potratz also says that Justin Hartley knew about the tension Stause had with Christine and herself. She adds, “He knows Christine and I had our drama moments with Chrishell. I thought it was very classy of him and very mature to go out of his way to be extra polite and nice to Christine and I.”
As for the office party that Quinn and Potratz were talking about in season three, she explained, "At one Christmas party, Jason and Brett's, one of their properties, we had a Christmas dinner. Christine and I were chit chatting and everyone was dispersed, eating, talking, drinking and I think Chrishell and Justin were about to leave and she just kind of waved to us and so we waved back saying ‘see you and have a nice holiday."
"You know we're amicable and don’t have any animosity towards one another and Justin saw us and actually walked over to us and shook our hands. So we thought that again was very classy of him. But, who knows what happened, not in any way claiming to be best friends with him or taking his side in any way but all I saw was very polite and maybe that’s all it was, certainly classier than Romain. I’ll give him that.”
After talking about her interactions with Justin Hartley, Davina Potratz made sure to share the fact that she does support and care about her co-star, Chrishelle Stause. She told us, I have compassion and I absolutely support her and I said that many times. I just don’t think any of that made it into the final cut.” She also says that Stause still follows her on Instagram and vice versa. These ladies consistently like one another’s photos.
So, it looks like these two clashing reality stars were able to put the season three drama behind them. Now, if only Hartley and Stause could do that with their relationship. Check out Selling Sunset season 3 on Netflix.
