How to Craft The Mint Mallet in Grounded | Screen Rant
The best way to progress quickly in Grounded is for players to upgrade their tools whenever they get the opportunity. If players try to run around with their starter tools they won't be able to collect certain resources and fighting against some of the bugs will become a daunting task. If players are smart enough to get some of the higher tier tools though, they will be able to make short work of any challenge that presents itself to them.
By far one of the best tools in the game is the Mint Mallet. It is the strongest melee weapon that players are able to get in the game. The Mint Mallet has a damage rating of nine and a stun rating of 10, so any bugs that get in the players way will find themselves hopelessly outmatched. It also helps the player cut down their inventory because they won't need any other weapons after getting this one. This guide will show players how to craft the Mint Mallet.
In order to make themselves a Mint Mallet, players will first need to track down some mint chunks. These items can only be found in one place on the map, which makes them very rare. Players will need to travel northeast of the Mysterious Machine until they come upon an IceCaps container (basically a giant container of breath mints), but sadly the container is closed shut. Players will just need to take out a hammer and smash the container open.
Once inside players will see the container is full of mints, but these objects are too large to carry. Instead, players will need to break of little chunks of the mints using their tools. Tier One tools are too weak for this job, so players will need to have crafted the Insect Hammer first in order to break off some pieces of mint. If players have the Insect Hammer they can then break off five mint chunks. These chunks can then be taken to a crafting station and combined with nine spider silk and eight flower petals to craft the very powerful Mint Mallet. If the player has extra mints, they can always eat a few whenever they are in dire need of fresh breath.
