Defining Fights: UFC 252 headliner Stipe Miocic
Two-time UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will attempt to become the first man to legitimately defeat Daniel Cormier twice when he faces his big rival in the main event of UFC 252.
Miocic heads into the matchup in possession of the championship belt after he finished Cormier in their most recent meeting at UFC 241 last August. Prior to that fight, Cormier knocked out the Ohio firefighter in the first round to halt his first title reign back at UFC 226 in July 2018.
Now the pair will face off for a third and final time, with bragging rights, the UFC heavyweight strap, and the mantle of the greatest UFC heavyweight champion of all time hanging in the balance.
UFC 252 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
