Better Endings (contains spoilers)

I was watching Full Metal Jacket again the other night, and I've yet to be dissuaded that the film just dies a death after boot camp. It would actually be better if the film just ends soon after Pyle goes insane.

Another one is the alternative ending to Seven, where Freeman shoots Spacey. I'm a bit 50/50 on that one, and it's testament to how great that film is that either outcome would be good.

What other films do you think could have better endings?
