Contra Costa: CHP reports fatal collision involving vehicle, pedestrian on Highway 24

The California Highway Patrol is reporting a fatal collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred Saturday morning on state Highway 24 in Contra Costa County near Orinda.

The collision occurred on the highway just east of Fish Ranch Road, according to the CHP.

The collision was first reported at 3:04 a.m.
