Danniella Westbrook is ‘left bruised after her phone is stolen by thief armed with bat’
FORMER Eastender’s star Daniella Westbrook claims she was left bruised after her phone was stolen by a thief armed with a baseball bat.
The 46-year-old actress today said she had been “left in shock” after a man allegedly snatched her phone in the street.
The alleged incident happened yesterday and Danniella took to Twitter to share the horrific experience with her 200,000 followers.
She tweeted: “So had my phone stolen off me yesterday… some people are just scum.”
Asked by a concerned fan whether she had reported the alleged attack, Daniella added: “I have reported the incident to police – along with the bruises from the bat the guy used on me…”
It is believed that Daniella later deleted the latter tweet.
Despite the shocking incident, the former Celebrity Big Brother housemate insisted she was okay.
She continued: “I’m ok tbh had much worse when I was in full blown addiction but not getting any younger and the shock was actually the worst of it.
“Phone blocked and new one on the way.”
Danniella started her showbiz career as a child model before appearing in television advertisements for cars and fizzy drinks before she landed a small part in Grange Hill and appeared in the West End.

She later found fame at the age of just 16 after appearing in the role of Sam Mitchell in five different stints over 30 years in Eastenders.
And she is apparently eyeing a return to the show as landlady of the Queen Vic after Phil Mitchell agrees to buy the pub.
The 46-year-old told The Morning After With Paul Danan podcast: “I’d like to go back and take the Queen Vic over, I’d love to. I think Sam should buy it behind Phil’s back.”
