Birmingham stabbing: Girl, 15, and woman, 28, arrested after man is knifed to death by busy road in
A 15-YEAR-OLD girl and another woman, 28, have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death by a busy road in Birmingham.
The man was found dead by the side of the road with a stab wound to his chest, police say.
The unidentified victim was taken to hospital but pronounced dead just after 6pm.
A murder investigation has been launched.
West Midlands Police released a statement on Saturday night, saying: “We received a call at 4.55pm today reporting a man slumped near the junction of Bristol Road and Mill Pool Way, Bournbrook, with a stab wound to his chest.
“He was transferred to hospital but pronounced dead at around 6.15pm.
“A woman aged 28 and a 15-year-old girl were arrested at the scene and remain in police custody.”
The victim has not yet been identified.
