Where to Find Every Hidden Altar Location in Ghost of Tsushima
In Ghost of Tsushima, players role-play as Jin Sakai, a samurai that faces tough decisions as the Mongols take over Tsushima Island. Due to the extensive open-world map, players can visit multiple locations throughout the island, collect items, and earn achievements.
There are many hidden altars throughout Tsushima Island, but only ten need to be found in order to get the Hidden Unseen trophy. They are marked by wooden signs showing a figure bowing. There are at least 13 hidden altars.
Act 1
- A hidden altar can be seen in the “Legend of Tadayori”, a Mythic Tale that has players collect Violet Flowers and will reward them with Tadayori’s Armor. Players will also be able to visit Tadayori’s grave in a field full of purple flowers. It’s located in Houren’s Pasture under a Torii gate.
- Southwest of Yochi’s Slope, there is another hidden altar. There will be an area full of bamboo with a path going through it. Follow it to reach the hidden altar.
- If the player takes the eastern road out of the Komatsu Forge, they will come across the cemetery. There is an altar in the back of the cemetery to honor.
- Another hidden altar is on a fishing dock in Kechi Fishing Village. The dock will be along a river nearby. It's an area under Mongol control where players need to rescue hostages. It is much easier to reach the altar after the Mongols have been extinguished.
- There is a hidden altar near Kaneda Castle. Walk around the castle to find the beach and the altar that rests on it.
- The Kaneda Inlet has multiple collectible items. There is a pillar of honor, as well as a hidden altar.
- Near Kashine Hills, there is an inn with red flowers around it. The altar is located nearby.
Act 2
- There is a hidden altar east of Numanaka Inn in the marshlands.
- To the south of the last altar, there is another hidden altar in the marshlands. This altar can be found next to the pillar of honor.
- There are two hidden altars to the southeast of Yarikawa. They’re near the Cloud Ridge Shinto Shrine. There are two frog altars next to each other on the way to the shrine.
- In Umugi Cove, there is another hidden altar. It’s located on the boardwalk near the edge of town.
- Go to Otsuna to reach the Omi Monastery, south of Omi Village. Near the monastery there is a cemetery with a large monument. This monument is a hidden altar.
- On another fishing dock, there is a hidden altar on the edge of Omi Lake. The lake is to the south of Omi Village.
- Now that players have honored at least ten hidden altars, they can collect the Hidden Unseen trophy.
