EastEnders’ Samantha Womack has split from her husband Mark after 11 years – but they’re still living together
SAMANTHA Womack has split from her husband of 11 years – but they’re still living together.
The former EastEnders actress – who played Ronnie Mitchell on the soap – admits their relationship ended a while ago and they’re dating other people.
But the ex-couple remain living in their Bedfordshire farmhouse with kids Benjamin, 19, and 15-year-old Lili Rose.
Samantha, 47, is also step-mum to Mark’s son Michael, 25, from a previous relationship.
Samantha told OK! Magazine: “Our family home is big enough and we’re co-existing happily.
“There’s no rush to change things.
“But now feels like the right time to be honest and admit we’re no longer together.”
Samantha first met Mark, 59, on the set of Liverpool 1 back in 1998, but didn’t get married until 2009.
Mark has recently been seen starring on Emmerdale as DI Mark Malone.
News of their relationship ending comes as Samantha’s best pal and former co-star Rita Simons announced she quietly called time on her marriage.
Rita – who played Ronnie’s sister Roxy on EastEnders – split from her husband Theo Silverston after 14 years together.
The 43-year-old actress, who shares twin girls with the hairdresser, has been “living separate lives” from her ex since 2018.

Rita became a star after joining EastEnders as Roxy in 2007 and alongside Samantha played the feisty Mitchell sisters for ten years.
The pair became firm favourites both both left in 2017 when they were killed off.
