Jio's own 5G tech may help cut network rollout costs by 10-15%: Analysts

While hardware such as RAN (radio access network) still constitutes half of an operator’s capital expenditure, the share of software is expected to increase from 15-20% to 25-30% in the coming years, according to a report by brokerage firm UBS.
