Argentine national Lionel Messi has asked to leave Spanish soccer giants Barcelona. The 33-year old, six time Ballon D’or winner is said to have sent a fax to the club informing them of his desire to leave, and taking advantage of a clause in his contract that allows him to depart this summer.
