Report: Spurs closing in on third signing of the summer; club keen to reach deal

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to be in talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers over a deal for Matt Doherty.

The Athletic claim that Wolves valued the right-back initially at £20million with Tottenham making an opening offer of around £12million before add-ons.

It has been reported that both sides are keen to reach an agreement for the Republic of Ireland international who has been at Molineux for the past ten years with a deal likely to be reached for a fee in the region of £15million.
