Senior most CWC member Ghulam Nabi Azad said most critics were ignorant of issues raised in their letter and their push for organisational elections was prompting nominated office bearers to oppose them. Azad’s party colleague Kapil Sibal supported him by condemning the ‘official targeting’ of Prasada and said the Congress’ surgical strike must target BJP, not own partymen.
