Walker Buehler goes to Dodgers Injured List with blister

The Dodgers have placed Walker Buehler on the Injured List with a blister on his pitching hand.

Right-hander Mitch White was promoted from the alternate training site to take Buehler’s place on the active roster. It is the second promotion for White, 25, but he has yet to make his big-league debut.

Buehler got off to a slow start this season and had a 5.21 ERA after his first four starts. But in his most recent start (last Friday against the Colorado Rockies), Buehler allowed just one run on four hits while striking out 11 in a season-high six innings.

Buehler was scheduled to start one of the games of Thursday’s doubleheader (with Clayton Kershaw scheduled for the other). The Dodgers have not announced a second starter yet.
