Godhood, developed by Abbey Games, is a religion game that allows players to make their own deity and form a religion around them. The young deities can travel the land, converting locals with their followers, and later converting those on neighboring islands, as well. The player’s goal is to attract as many disciples as possible to their worship by guiding them through rituals, blessings, and dreams. These disciples can also complete miracles and fight other deity’s disciples on the behalf of the player. With the help of these disciples, players can become the one true god.
There are twenty different totems in the game, and they all have different ranks, talents, and buffs. Totems can be equipped for disciples, with most of them holding a common or uncommon ranked random totem at the beginning of the game. The uncommon totem will have a specific class assigned to it, while the common totems may have a class that fits one of the player’s focused stats. Each totem will also raise its talented attribute when the disciple holding it performs a miracle.
- Bull: The Bull Totem has a rank of Good, and has health and might talents that are Good as well. The ability Nature Soul gives the disciple the opportunity to follow up an ally’s Nature ability, but it has a small chance that it will trigger, depending on the disciple’s Faith level. The higher the level, the more likely it is to be triggered.
- Cat: The Cat Totem has a rank of Common, and only has a talent for cunning, which is Good. The ability Knack for Nature is similar to the Nature Soul ability, and gives the disciple holding it to chance to follow up an ally’s Nature ability. This ability seldom triggers, and will sometimes activate when a disciple’s Faith level is high.
- Duck: The Duck Totem has a rank of Common, and has talents for health and devotion, with a rank of Decent for each one. The totem also gives players the opportunity to collect four Offerings.
- Hawk: The Hawk Totem has a rank of Good, with talents for charisma and might that have a rank of Good as well. The ability Dark Soul gives disciples the chance to follow up an ally’s Dark Ability. This ability will rarely trigger, based on a disciple’s Faith level.
- Ibis: The Ibis Totem has a rank of Good, and has talents for knowledge and devotion that are similarly ranked. The ability Ancestral Soul gives disciples the chance to follow up an ally’s Ancestral Ability. This ability can be rarely triggered, and scales with a disciple’s Faith level.
- Lynx: The Lynx Totem has a rank of Good, with might and cunning talents that are similarly ranked. The totem grants the disciple that holds it the ability to follow up an ally’s Life ability using Life Soul. This ability can be rarely triggered, depending on the disciple’s Faith level.
- Parakeet: The Parakeet Totem has a rank of Common, and only has the charisma talent with a rank of Good. It’s ability, the Knack for Life, grants the owner the opportunity to follow up an ally’s Life Ability. Knack for Life can seldom be triggered, and the odds of it triggering are dependent on a disciple’s Faith level.
- Rat: The Rat Totem is a Common totem with the talents health, cunning, and might, all with the rank of Decent. The totem grants the disciple holding it with the chance to use Knack for Dark, which can follow up and ally’s Dark Ability. It sometimes will trigger when the disciple’s Faith level is high.
- Dog: The Dog Totem is a Common totem with a might talent at the rank of Good. It’s Knack of Ancestral Ability will sometimes follow up an ally’s Ancestral Ability, depending on the owner’s Faith level.
- Crow: The Crow Totem is a Common totem with the knowledge talent at the rank of Good. Its Knack for Dark Ability sometimes has the chance to follow up an ally’s Dark Ability when the disciple’s Faith level is high.
- Dove: The Dove Totem has a rank of Common with the Devotion talent having a rank of Good. The totem gives the disciple the chance to use the Knack for Divine Ability that seldom triggers when their Faith is at a high level.
- Finch
- The Finch Totem has a rank of Common with knowledge, charisma, and devotion talents, all at the rank of Decent. The Knack of Nature Ability that this totem gives the disciple can sometimes be triggered to follow up an ally’s Nature Ability when their Faith level is high.
- Pig: The Pig Totem is a Common totem, and it only carries the health talent at the rank of Good. Its Knack for Life Ability can sometimes be triggered to follow up an ally’s Life Ability when the disciple’s Faith Level is high.
- Hare: The Hare Totem is a Common totem that carries the charisma and cunning talents, at a rank of Decent. This totem allows disciples to collect four Fanatics.
- Armadillo: The Armadillo Totem has a rank of Good, and carries the health and cunning talents that are similarly ranked. Its ability, Nature Soul, has a rare chance to follow up an ally’s Nature Ability, depending on the owner’s Faith Level.
- Spectacled Bear: The Spectacled Bear Totem is a Good totem, with a Decent health talent, Decent knowledge talent, and Good might talent. It grants the user a +25 Defy Chance.
- Flamingo: The Flamingo Totem is a Good totem with a Decent knowledge talent, Decent charisma talent, and a Good cunning talent. It grants the user a +10 Morale Crit Chance.
- Talipa: The Talipa Totem is a Destined totem with Major charisma and cunning talents. It has the Nature Soul Ability which can rarely follow up an ally’s Nature Ability, and a +20 Evade Chance.
- Illihotl: The Illihotl Totem is a Destined totem with a Major might talent, Decent cunning talent, and Decent charisma talent. The Life Soul Ability has a rare chance to follow up an opponent’s Life Ability, and gives +10 Morale and Physical Crit Chance.
- Lilac King: The Lilac King Totem is a Destined totem that has Decent might, devotion, and health talents, and a Major knowledge talent. Its Life Soul Ability has the rare chance of following up an ally’s Life Ability.
