Parts of newly-completed road to be redone

Parts of Buqana Road, leading from Rabat to Mosta, will be closed on Friday and Saturday for resurfacing works, Infrastructure Malta said.

The road was recently rebuilt and widened, but the agency said some sections did not reach its quality standards.

The closure will involve traffic heading south, towards Mosta.
