Lam Research's board OKs 13% dividend increase

Lam Research Corp. said late Thursday its board has approved a 15-cent, or 13%, increase in the semiconductor company's dividend to $1.30 a share. The dividend payment will be made Oct. 14 to shareholders of record on Sept. 30. Future dividend payments are subject to review and approval by the board, Lam said. Shares of Lam were flat in the extended session and ended Thursday down 2.9%.
