LCG: Waste services resume on Friday, August 28

LAFAYETTE, La. (LCG)- Republic Services is scheduled to resume trash pickup in Lafayette on Friday, August 28.

Because the storm suspended today’s garbage and recycling collection, Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, and customers who are normally scheduled for Friday pickup will be serviced on Saturday.

Republic Services appreciates customers’ patience as collection volume is expected to be larger than normal.
