Man charged with killing relative in Jeffery Manor
Reginald Macon, 39, was charged with first-degree murder for the shooting of Christopher Hines at a party in the 9900 block of South Van Vlissingen Road, Chicago police said.
A Burnside man is accused of fatally shooting a family member Friday in Jeffery Manor on the South Side.
Reginald Macon, 39, was charged with first-degree murder for the shooting of Christopher Hines at a party in the 9900 block of South Van Vlissingen Road, Chicago police said.
Police said Hines, 35, was a relative of Macon’s, but did not specify how they were related.
Macon was taken into custody shortly after the shooting, police said. He appeared in bond court Sunday.
Macon is due back in court Tuesday.
