90 Day Fiancé: Tania Maduro Picks Fights With Syngin At Awkward Times

0

Tania Maduro and Syngin Colchester’s relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? has slowly been heading downhill all season. Since the TLC couple decided to take a trip to Syngin’s hometown in South Africa, there hasn’t been a moment when they’ve gone without arguing. Be it the braai with Syngin’s family or the pub-session with his friends, Tania has been troubled throughout the trip. Is this time for the 90 Day Fiancé couple to just calm down for a while?

The entire season of 90 Day Fiancé has shown Tania and Syngin quarreling incessantly. The major issue at hand was whether or not they should start a family. Syngin didn’t make matters any better by refusing to live “the American dream,” and was vocal about wanting to move back to South Africa. When an unfortunate medical emergency with his brother allowed Syngin and Tania to travel to Cape Town, Syngin continued to say that he would prefer to stay in South Africa for good. Then, a family event went up in flames for Tania and Syngin within minutes. Syngin’s parents and siblings got a taste of their relationship troubles, but they could do little to help. "If two years isn't enough, then we shouldn't do this anymore," Tania told Syngin. 90 Day Fiancé fans wondered if this was the end of the road for this young couple.

However, the TLC twosome did try to make things work and met up with Syngin’s friends in the September 6 episode of the reality show. The conversation between Syngin’s friends and former roommates Andrew and James excited Tania, as she tried to heed the Colchesters’ advice about being more patient. “ I hope we can get back at a better track,” the 90 Day Fiancé star told the cameras. But the meeting fell apart faster than it took for their jägerbomb order to arrive. Syngin’s friends told Tania how they didn’t expect a “return flight” from her, and Tania shared that nothing has been stable for her and Syngin. Syngin’s South African friends called Tania out for being in denial. Her mentioning the red flags about their best buddy repeatedly struck a wrong nerve with Andrew and James who declared, “you’ve sold yourself.”

While both Syngin and Tania share completely opposite points of view, as his friends said, they’re in a relationship now which they chose to be in. Tania has referred to her time in  South Africa as a “build-up moment,” which could instead be used to build their 90 Day Fiancé story back up, stronger. Syngin too needs to realize that “vacation mode” won’t last forever and that he will have to sit down and talk it out first with Tania in private, rather than washing their dirty laundry in public. Tania’s attempt at belittling him time and time again has made Syngin question his marriage, but she seems to be thinking long-term, which Syngin is not.

However, the 90 Day Fiancé admitted to still being together and back in Connecticut in an interview with ET. "If relationships were built only on love, we'd have the best relationship ever. But we're two individual people with our own habits, likes, dislikes, minds, and thoughts. And if we can blend all of that together, then we'll see,” the reality TV stars said in the interview. Quarantining together is likely to have given Tania and Syngin that much-needed time to sit down for a tête-à-tête, and it certainly has worked well for this fan-favorite 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? couple.
