Maharashtra may reduce Covid-19 testing rates at private labs by 40 per cent

A month ago, the state government had cut the test charge to 2,500 from 4,500. RT-PCR (reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) tests are considered the gold standard for Covid-19 detection.
