The Temptations singer Bruce Williamson ‘dead at 49 after battle with COVID-19’
BRUCE Williamson, the former lead singer of The Temptations, has died at the age of 49.
The musician reportedly died from coronavirus on Sunday night at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
According to TMZ, Bruce’s son shared a tribute to his late father, writing: “There’s no words in the world that can express how I feel right now I love you Daddy.
“Thank you for being awesome thank you for being loving thank you for being Who You Are.
“I pray to God and we will meet again. I love you Daddy R.I.H KING WILLIAMSON”
After years of singing in church and fronting the funk cover band BlackBerry Jam, Bruce joined The Temptations as one of the lead singers in 2007.
Former frontman G.C. Cameron announced he was leaving to pursue a solo career and a new member would be taking his place.
